 A entertaining jigsaw puzzle, with sentimental meaning too Feb 19, 2012

My family owns this puzzle and we have enjoyed putting it together, not only because it's challenging in its own right, but also because the photo contains a portion of my father's restored model train collection. Many years ago (perhaps late 80s or thereabouts) my dad and and another fellow, both members of the North Pittsburgh Model Railroad Museum, were asked to assemble a collection of their vintage trains for a photo layout, shot for the John Brady Design Consultants firm. It was to be used as part of a calendar that they gave out to their clients at Christmastime. I've had a print of this photo framed on my dining room wall for many years. Then later (2009), to our surprise, we discovered the photo being used on this jigsaw puzzle. How about that. My dad is now deceased, so this puzzle reminds me of him and one of his favorite hobbies, something that he put a lot of time and effort into.

I gave this as a gift to an adult friend who loves puzzles & trains, so he was very pleased with this puzzle. He liked its initial challenge and how it made you study deeper into how the pieces fit together. He highly recommends this puzzle.
