Description

Hoist the sails, seize the tiller-you're off to wild and distant shores, where tales of imagination still roam free. We're sure you recognize the woolly bearded captain of the Fablemaker-he was the magical bard of Christensen's phenomenally popular limited edition print Once Upon a Time. In that image, the bard enthralled a gathering of fairy folk with exciting human fables. Now, to celebrate the 10th anniversary release of that print, those old friends and new have skippered the Fablemaker in search of far-off legends. A lifeline trails, it's within your reach-swing aboard and join the crew.

4Hard  Mar 29, 2011 By Abby Barnes "Abby"
I loved putting this puzzle together, but it was hard! I had to enlist of friend of mine to help me or I would have gone crazy! Beautiful puzzle with lots of great hidden pictures inside.

4Love this puzzle!  Dec 06, 2011 By T. Worthington
As others have mentioned, this puzzle is difficult! My wife and I love working on puzzles together. This one is a favorite, it's got so much to look at with hidden detail everywhere. There are many dark areas, but if you look close, there are things hiding in there that will help you.

This is a beautiful puzzle, but it's not for the faint of heart!

5Hard hard hard  Nov 22, 2011 By D. Bowers "Kestrel Hawk"
When you buy a 1500 piece puzzle you should expect it to be a little hard.....This one is extremely hard. If you decide to buy and build this puzzle make sure you have plenty of light. In the dark areas of this puzzle (and there is a lot of them) you have to see some detail. Without good light all the dark pieces look the same. Its a great puzzle if you have patience for it.

3Wonderfully Difficult  May 18, 2010 By Robert Dill
I do prefer my jigsaw puzzles to be more then the 256 piece puzzles my mother used to own. I remember sitting down with Mom and working one or two of those in an afternoon. That will NOT be the case with this puzzle. This has to be the most difficult 1500 pc. puzzle I have ever worked as yet. There were days I would get but 2 or 3 pieces fitted. I for one believe that the harder the puzzle the more the subconscious works on it for me. There are some very slow days and yet other days when I seem to just know what to pick up and it fits.
I have always had a difficult time with colors. I am not colorblind but it seems I am not always sure just what color is what. This particular puzzles difficulty is due to the fact that it is hard to tell the pieces apart as there is not much to differentiate one from another. And therein lies the problem. And yet it is not a 'problem' for me, it just means that I'll be working on this particular puzzle longer then all of the others.
In fact, this 1500 is even more difficult then the few 2000's that I own!

But I definitely recommend this puzzle to anyone who enjoys having that ongoing hobby rather then something you can knock off in a few hours, a day or several days.
