5Golden Wonders 300 pc Puzzle  Jun 18, 2011 By MsDeb "Deb"
Puzzles are an excellent source for hand-to-eye coordination. They also aid in the function of the brain for memory and cognitive thinking, along with problem-solving, all of which are needed to keep the brain active throughout the aging years. I gave these puzzles as present to nursing homes and they were mainly given to mild cognitive impaired adults. Older adults find puzzles stimulating and a great social activity. If someone sees another person working on a puzzle, more than likely others will join in.
