The grandparents bought this for my 3.5 yr old and he loves it! He plays with the smaller ones more just out of ease I think but overall it is great and really big too!

Gorgeous puzzle. Fantastic graphics. Strongly recommend. This one joins two or three dozen (plus?) Melissa & Doug products. I wish all kids products received the love and care that this brand does. I know that if it is a M & D, it will be great.
Puzzle incomplete Mar 08, 2012
By M. Pennell We received this puzzle as a gift and my 2 1/2 year old was so excited. When we first took the puzzle out and attempted to complete it, two pieces were missing. I called the Melissa and Doug phone number on the box and never heard back from them. Very disappointing.

100 pieces, 48 inches tall and 18 inches wide; so make sure you have the space to work on the puzzle. Recommended for age 6 and up but my kids could complete this easily at 4.5. The pieces are big and sturdy and fit well together. The picture is nice and the color is vivid.
This is the only children's rain forest puzzle I could find. The scene is supposed to show the different layers of the rain forest with the different plants and animals found in each layer. Just remember to tell your children that there are a lot more species than those depicted.
